The reality is events cost money. And Yass Runners is very grateful to all our large and small sponsors who are supporting Run Y’Ass Off.
The a Wellness Centre is our naming sponsor; we’ve been given a grant by Yass Valley Council and we have Classic Constructions in board as presenting sponsor.
Thanks to these generous organisations we are bringing a fantastic running event to the Yass Valley.
Running over the river again. It was like a mirror.
Meanwhile, if you run the half marathon, keep your eye out for a few landmarks that I’ve named…
Field of Ghosts
Rusty Axle Ridge
Hidden Tank Hollow
No doubt I’ll find some more…keeps me going forward!
Have you ever been having too much of a good time and then not run? That was me today.
The Blerch got me.
Today’s training run took me up Harwick Lane and across Yass River. This will be the route of the Run Y’Ass Off half marathon.
The river is bigger since the new dam has been installed.
For a body like this when I’m running!
Well, I went back to some (not that old) shoes for my outing yesterday. Turns out my feet are simply no longer satisfied with those. The human body can get used to anything…just don’t try to change it back!
